No buoyancy problems, I've worked very hard on my PPB. My legs just float more that the rest of me.
Descending is also problematic, if I try it keep my legs below me without the ankle weights, I start to rise due to the movement. This tends to make the DMs think I'm underweighted and they try to add more, which I don't need.
If I add all the weight I require, when diving in salt water (about 18 lbs) to my middle it makes my centre even heavier and causes my legs to want to rise even more.
Even in fresh water I spent my OW pool training with a second belt across my legs so that I wasn't flipping a-- over teakettle during the lessons.
