Troy Springs is about to go dark. The river is rising and there’s a layer of tannic water on the surface. We dove today 8/1/23, and the viz underneath the tannic layer was about 40ft.

During our dive, there was an underwater landslide that destroyed the viz. Some of that will settle out overnight, but there are probably very few days left before the brownout.
