The highest surge was 3.2'. it was interesting to watch on the web cam how the tide went in and out. The water will be a bit murky for the next few days, Tiger Shark heaven I guess.
 
Yeah, I was checking it out from Tantalus and the only change was that the water got flatter. Any word on damage to the Big Island??

"When is everyone going diving again?"

I was in the water at Hanauma Bay swimming to Pai Olu Olu Point at 7:45 this morning. Had to make up for lost time.
 
The tsunami warning came in the morning of the first day we were in Kona....couldn't believe my eyes and ears when I turned on the TV news that morning. Fortunately it was a non-event just about everywhere in the islands. We were out diving at Kohala the next day.
