This will be fairly - mercifully?? - short this week as I'm still in catch-up mode and still have a full plate . . .
CHAMBER DAY REMINDER - We're at the halfway mark for the event (we went live March 1 and Chamber Day 2019 is May 1), so - while we know you've likely heard plenty from us about this - we simply want to remind you what's at stake. I'm not going to sit here and tell you that if you don't contribute $100 or more that the Chamber will close down tomorrow. But I will tell you that chambers which are available 24/7/365 to an active diving community are few and far between. We're the ONLY such facility in the general L.A. area. And the fact of the matter is that your Chamber has to rely on the diving community for about 50% of the annual operating budget. They don't get any revenue from treatments - so it doesn't matter financially if it's a "good" year of a bad one - and while there's a grant from L.A. County, it doesn't cover nearly all that's needed. That's where you come in. So give what you can in whatever way you can: CHAMBER DAY 2019.
DIVE & GET FIVE - It's also a good time to remind you that if you do any diving in April with a boat that's in our Chamber Day 2019 fleet - Asante, Cee Ray, Giant Stride, Pacific Star, Sundiver, Sundiver II, Sundiver Express, or Westerly - at the end of your dive day you'll get five FREE daytime raffle tickets from the boats as a thank you. It's just our way to trying to support the boats that support Chamber Day.
