I have a VHS tape from a dive in Hawaii a few years back that I would like to transfer to DVD. I had a friend try, but the DVD produced will not play on my home player - but it will [sometimes] play on a PC.

I am in central NJ and would be willing to make a short drive to have it done. If I can't get it done locally, I'll go with a mail-in service. Google found http://www.VideoSilo.com or http://www.apmstudio.com/ . Does anyone have anything good or bad to say about these (or other) services?

Any tips welcome,
...steve...
