Does vortex have RV spots as well?

Yes. They have spots for RV's.

They have power in the campground also. (can't remember if it's 15/20amp, 30amp, or 50amp. call to check)

Not sure if they have water/sewage hookups. (never used them).

but under the pics on this page it says they have "full hook ups"

That's funny.....kind of. I wonder if the flow is down and the new folks haven't mastered the water level, pump, thing yet. If JB is swimable then it should be fair to say the flow is also down a few miles away. The people who owned, and the people who managed it previously, seemed to have found the balance so it remained clear. Who knows?

Rumors are that they used a chemical to kill the algae! Was there two weeks ago, and viz was 5ft....................on the flip side...................algae is gone!!!:shakehead:

Vortex has a long history of modifying the spring(and hydrolics), the run, and basin, physically and chemically...

I talked to the girl and she said the heavy rains had really spiked the algae ...It will clear up soon...they have to run tests to reopen...
