It's getting that time of year, and it seems like all the dive sites are closing up for the season. Are there any sites that are open between October and April in the Chicagoland area? Willing to travel to nearby states as well (Michigan, Indiana, etc.). I'd rather not have my feet dry until Spring.

Gilboa is about the only site I'm aware of that stays open. I don't live in the area any longer so I don't know their scheduled, but give them a call or check their website. I used to dive Gilboa all winter except for the few occasions when it froze over.

White Star Quarry in OH is open through the end of the year (no fills on site).

It’s an inland dive site. Gilboa is known to be expensive, but they do have nice facilities.
