West Palm Beach to Bahamas Flights Cheap?

Hello Everyone. I have heard by a colleague that there are very inexpensive flights on a small commuter airline that go from West Palm or possibly Ft. Lauderdale to the Bahamas. I'm interested in diving in the Bahamas as inexpensively as possible, and I'm wondering if anyone has any information on what my colleague may have been talking about. I got the sense that it had been a while since he had gone to the Bahamas, so I'm not really very confident he was correct.

Ft. Lauderdale to the Bahamas

Jet Blue flies r/t to Nassau for $257. It's all boat diving there though and there's only 3 operators so prices are pretty high.

There's also the ferry to Freeport. It's about $175 r/t. https://www.ferryexpress.com/wps/portal/comercial/home_us_en?estrecho=3&resetPortlet=true Little to no shore diving there either. About the only (cheaper) shore diving is off a couple of the Outer Islands which will be more expensive to fly to most likely.

Thanks for the advice everyone. Looks like I need to save up for this trip. It's not nearly as cheap as I thought.

You are probably referring to this one. They have a variety of deals. It's the taxes that kill you.
