What do you enjoy most about diving?

I do want to add that I first wanted to learn SCUBA because I'm kind of a type-A personality who enjoys challenged, but I regret it's taken me this long to return to this childhood dream. I can't wait to introduce my girlfriend to diving in May. I'm sure she'll experience the same wonder and excitement. It's just so NOT the everyday schlepping and grinding that we get used to in the "civilized" world...

What I enjoy most is being in another world, one without stress, tax, work, hassle, problems etc and being with beautiful and complex marine life and actually becoming part of THEIR experiences in that day. I'd dive in the bath if I could!
