Hi

What gases are authorised for IANTD CCRs in the "CCR Advanced Recreative Trimix Plus 51 m (ART+)" for the diluent?

TDI Helitrox requires a minimum of 21% oxygen and a maximum of 35% (+- 5%) helium and is limited to 45 m
I found this official TDI document : https://www.tdisdi.com/wp-content/u..._Helitrox_CCR_Unit_Specific_Diver.pdf?lang=fr

Is it possible with IANTD course to go down to 18% or even 16% oxygen for the diluent ?
I haven't found an official IANTD document. If someone have one I'm interested.

Thank you.

Doubtful, no reason to have a lower o2 mix when limited to 51m anyway.

Below is copy/pasted from the IANTD CCR ART+ standards:
==================================================

No dives may be conducted to depths greater than:
a. 140 fsw (42 msw) using air as diluent.
b. 150 fsw (45 msw) as part of the Advanced Recreational Trimix course in which case the END will not
exceed 100 fsw (30 msw) when using Trimix as diluent.
NOTE: When helium is used, both the bailout and diluent gas must be used with an END no greater than 100 fsw (30 msw) at the maximum depth of the dive and the helium content.
==============================================================

Extra Limits For CCR Advanced Recreational Trimix Plus
1. For CCR Advanced Recreational Trimix Plus Diver Program, no dives may be conducted to depths greater than 170 fsw (51 msw)
2. Two (2) extra dives with a total run time of 60 minutes.
a. At least 1 dive must be between 132 fsw (40 msw) and 150 fsw (45 msw)
b. At least 1 dive must be between 140 fsw (42 msw) and 170 fsw (51 msw)

And nothing about max in min O2 and He ?
Well percentages were not defined specifically but PO2/setpoint must never exceed 1.3 and END must never exceed 100 fsw. You derive the percentages from those limitations.

And could you send me the link or the official pdf of what you posted before ?

It is in the IANTD S&Ps for Rebreather Diving Standards.

I am not sure about “plus” but my ART card mentions minimum diluent 18% O2 and END 30 msw.
