and I'd assume that they'd have plenty of tim-tams aboard SOF, as well as tea to slam it with, so choc-crazes should be cured reasonably well.

NOPE! No free chocolate on board. There are biscuits/cookies on board near the tea/coffee station but the very plain variety. They have chocolate bars for sale in the fridge along with the drinks that you buy (alcohol & cokes, etc.).
So take a chocolate stash if you need one!
