what the hell is a the big deal about DIN, what is it?

I dive HP steel tanks, and have aspirations of going the tech route someday. So DIN was a no-brainer for me. DIN is a far superior connection. Hook them both up a couple of times and you should be able to tell for yourself. Also it's far easier to adapt a DIN reg to yoke than the other way around. A DIN reg with an adapter is only nominally larger than a regular yoke reg, but noticably smaller when connected to a DIN tank. So on vacations I take an adapter. I dive with wireless AI computer so I have no console, so the weight is negligable.
