Confirm that 3mm is usually enough, but next time I'm taking a 5mm- I don't like using a hood, and after 3 hours a day at depth, I get chilly.
Where is it 89 degrees?

I've been to Coz several times, always in March. I just wear a 3mm shorty, no hood, and never found the water cold, even after multiple dives. Of course, I'm in Eastern Canada, and July water temp get close to 70 F for about three weeks, then starts getting colder again.

We were in Cancun a couple of weeks ago, and I did some diving in the Cenotes (I'll post a trip report once I finish getting my videos put together) and I wore the same suit there, thought it was like bathwater. The three divers with me all had full body wetsuits, and hoods, and found it very chilly.

What you'll need really depends a lot on what you're used to.
