It's about time! I've been eating chicken all winter. I need some lobster in my diet.
 
right now you'll be lucky to find one legal or non legal. Generally I find they start poking their heads out in May and then they do a lot of moving around with the water temps. Don't start looking for serious numbers untill June-ish.
 
Looking back over my logs, April has produced blind-luck bugs and start of May is a little more predictable.


And I have already started diving for round things :)

Lobsters seem to show up in worthwhile numbers when the water temps get above 50.

Not soon enough. Hoping to get back in the water early May. If by some chance, there is a super warm weekend in April I will try to get some diving in but unfortunately i'm diving wet so I'll freeze regardless.

Didnt start getting that many lobsters until June last year.
