Where in the Houston area is a good place to look at and talk with a sales rep about cameras and underwater housings? I am considering taking the plunge into underwater photography and I want to look at lots of equipment and talk to the rep to get an idea of what I need/want. Thanks!

1. Go to the Houston Airport
2. Fly to Ft. Lauderdale
3. Drive to Reef Photo (you can have lunch at Shooter) and talk to Ryan.
4. Max out your credit cards.
5. Go diving while you are there (Go North to Jupiter/W Palm or South to the Keys).

But serously, the number of full service UW shops is quite small.
The best IMHO are UW PhotoTech near Manchester, NH, Reef Photo and Backscatter in CA.

So, does that mean none in the Houston area? I met the reef photo guys at seaspace in houston a couple of weeks ago. They had an olympus setup with optical (I'll mess up the lingo here) strope connection and olympus housing. He said something about raw format and that the camera he was showing was one that was being phased out but that it was in his opinion a great setup.
