Thanks everyone. I called DAN and spoke to the registrar. According to him, with the symptoms exhibited, it sounds like a case of barotrauma of the middle ear, which would resolve itself over time (phew)... It's not a case of DCI.

And yes, I've learnt that it pays to obey my dive com now.

I hope you have learned to plan your dive and dive your plan without having to rely on a dive computer to do it for you!

Okay, you added location to your profile, but not Dive Info. Do you really want help.

Did you go to a physician? If an ear infection sets in, you'll wish you had. Two threads on that right now in Dive Medicine, with me posting, because I'm sick at home with a bad one now.
