Why does my tank rock

Discuss with buddy before a dive with a pre arranged signall. If you feel it signal buddy and see if he/she can diagnose.
 
Thanks for the ideas. Will try a combination of all and report back when I get back from Bonaire - 3 weeks to go !!!!!!!!!
 
If you can feel the tank rock during a dive, you should be able to create the rocking on land. I suggest doing it after a dive where you felt the movement. Take the rig off and stand the tank up. Get some help if necessary to hold the tank steady while you try to move the plate. I would look closely for side to side movement at the mating of the STA on the plate.
 
All good stuff said. Last thing I would try is switching to a waltz to stop the tank from rockin'!
Probably hopeless. Rock is here to stay.
