Remember that dehydration reduces the blood volume, and thus the nitrogen offgassing.
 
I wonder how they correlated water intake to problems like colon cancer and back pain? I'm thinking that people who properly hydrate are also more likely to eat healthy, excercise, and live a generally healthier life style than those don't. I'm think ing of a fairly small sample group, but of people I know at work, socially, and other, the poeple I know who don't suffer from the afrementioned problems are more athletic and health-conscious in most cases.

Interesting statistics, but I for one won't take much stock in that until I saw the research methods.
