Lake Travis treasure hunting in 25-40 feet as a single diver, would you do it? Having trouble finding a dive buddy during weekdays.

It is all about training, planning and equipment. But you also need to be objective about water conditions, your fitness level and being prepared to call a dive at the last moment.

A potential problem I have seen is jet skis using your dive flag as a turning buoy. (Lake Murray, Okla) I wouldn’t assume that the local, and possibly overserved, boat operators know to avoid you. I would end my dive on my belly in 6” of water. Yes, I have been to Travis a time or two.
