Dude, I'm not arguing with you! I haven't even responded to anything you've said. Don't bring me into this :eyebrow:
OK, sorry... you weren't exactly arguing with me... but c'mon... I don't exactly have to bring you into this... You've been in it; and making it pretty clear not only where you stand, but also implying that everyone else should argee... (smiley... note the smiley...)

Or have I misunderstood what you were saying?

What kind of car do you drive? What brand? What kind of transmission? What kind of headlights? I'll bet it's different from mine, and I certainly have strong opinions about what I like. But I certainly don't think everyone else should be driving a German sedan with manual transmission and European headlights. (OK... maybe the European headlights part... :eyebrow: )

M3? M5? 3-Series?

Am I close? :D

Perhaps I did not do a good job of stating my opinions. I do have strong opinions on the subject, as evidenced by my posts, but I don't think I made any suggestion that anyone else was wrong or not free to think I'm a dumb slob who is wrong about everything. I tried to do nothing other than to state my opinions in a clear way.

But now that you mention it, maybe everyone SHOULD agree... :eyebrow:

No... I wish...

Civil servant, married with two kids.

It's actually a 1997 U.S.-spec VW Passat VR6. It can definitely get out of its own way on the German Autobahn, but it's time to be thinking about a new one now...

Big John has to have his computer on his wrist otherwise, because of his advanced years, he forgets to check his gas . . . . :D

. . . or should I say, breathing gas!! :11:

Note the smileys, Big John . . .

Jonnythan, jonnythan... Since I don't go after lobsters, and "that's the only good reason for a console" that you've heard, that pretty much implies that I don't have any good reasons.

Eh? :eyebrow: You gotta admit...

No reasons that *I* think are good. You're free to disagree, and I won't (and haven't) told you that you're wrong for doing so

VR6'es are nice little cars. As you may have guessed , I'm a Ford man myself, but I bow to all things performance automotive.

We just paid off the wife's Taurus last night and will pay off my Escort (sold my true love, my Mustang when I took up diving last year) within the next few months. I'm thinking about a possible jump to the import side. I really like the Mitsubishi EVOs. Fast, superb handling, and won't kill the budget either.

I was hoping to get into one of the new 2006 Mustang Cobras (re-introducing the Shelby nameplate) when they're released, but the waiting list will be a long, not to mention overly expensive one.

Truth be told, I'd love to get my hands on one of those Euro spec Cosworth Focus Rs. Sweet....

... Cars are neat. :)
