Leadweight, $400 for an Escape? My husband's Ranger was around that price. Your LDS must be making a nice buck on their customers.


They must be. Sounds like pricing at LDS in your area is more competitive.

I liked the Escape, but when I realized I could get a Transpac II for about that price....the rest is history.
 
I was thinking about getting a BC from them as well, but decided to go with a Halcyon. Anyhow I talked to them and they informed me that they are not a Zeagle dealer, but you can get a warranty from them that is equal or better than what a Zeagle dealer will provide. I'm not sure if that will give you any comfort. I've owned a Zeagle Ranger now since 1996 with over a hundred dives and never had any trouble with it. Hope that helps.
