Nitek He computer connections/software

Ladies/Gentlemen,

Does the Nitek He connect directly to a PC's RS232 ports?
Does the current Nitek software download work with a Nitek He?

No - there is no RS232 port on the NiTek HE - it uses the same case as the NiTek3.

Both such models (and a few other older ones) require Dive Rite's docking station which provides the link between the metal contacts on the face of the unit and a PC's serial port. You can also attach a serial port to USB converter if you want to plug the converter into a PC USB port instead.

Supposedly - more folks have reported sucess with NiTek Logic v3.25 than any other version since v2.09. But be careful - this isn't necessarily universal. You can download v3.25 from the Library.
