Went black water diving in FL a week ago and after picking up golf balls for a few hours, I rinsed off my gear didn't soak it since it was "fresh water" (right...). Well when packing everything up yesterday to fly home, I discovered a bunch of sand in my airlink octo. I took it a part and got a lot/all of the sand out that I could see, but I'm sure there is still some dust in there. I need to know if I can run water over the octo when it is a part with out hurting anything or should I use a small make-up brush from the wife's bag to clean it. Can someone give me some pointers on cleaning it out?

I would love to take it to the shop, but I'm getting ready to leave town again tomorrow and I'm taking my gear with me.

Thanks,
Adam
