I just don't log dives
I just got certified yesturday but only have my temporary. Can you dive anywhere on this or are there places who wont let you.

I'm suppose to leave on a cruise for the Bahamas on march 9th. Will I have any problems with diving if my card isn't in yet?

Thanks
Neil

nope, no worries...Some ops may limit your depth but that should not present a problem as you
are certified to the limits of your experience and training.

The piece of paper will cover you and the shop.

But even if you didn't have a card with you, do you really think that in 3 minutes of questioning a dive operator can't determine whether someone really has dive experience or not?

Especially with someone recently certified - it's all fresh in your mind, isn't it?

Thanks guys!! My instructor said I should be fine but I can get much more input here.

Thanks
Neil

You should be fine. If this is a PADI certification, then whatever OP you are diving with can always call PADI to do a verification if for whatever reason they have an issue with your temp card.

Remember to follow your training, and stay within your limits! Have a good time.

It's NAUI.

Not a problem - they can all check up on ya.
Have fun, be safe, help others and DON'T touch anything... ; )
