Never seen 72F on my computer at the Tugs in Tobermory before

The water in Little Tub Harbour, Tobermory was amazingly warm on Saturday afternoon: 72F.
 
Wow. Were you on any other sites to compare temperatures?
 
Yep, out at the Wetmore (70F) due to NE winds making Forest City too choppy for dive boat, and 71F at the wall behind Trails End Lodge. Still shaking my head. Thermocline was at about 40 ft at the wall, where it quickly went to normal temps :wink:
 
heard the current was surprisingly strong down a bit......
 
I did 3 dives Saturday at the lighthouse and experienced similar temps. I've never been there before and when we got in i thought to myself, this isn't near as cold as I've heard about. Sunday was a different story though, was supposed to go to Niagra 2 but due to the weather had to stay in :shakehead:
