Sorry, didn't see this 'till now. If you are still going there will be few others and myself leaving on the 6:15am and returning on the 3:45pm...hope to see you there.

Give us a trip report when you return. Hope the weather and VIS is good for you.
Brief report from yesterday's two dives: vis declined significantly after I submerged (hmmm). The Suejac end, which I generally favor, really clouded up even in the shallows so I dove to the left side of the stairs (looking out) the second dive. Max vis was probably 25 ft, but that's a stretch. Conditions earlier in the day were reported as better. Neither dive deeper than 46 ft with min temps of 61 and 64 F.

We're trying to decide between a Truth Aquatics trip, sometime I'm late July/ early August, or Avalon.
i was a little disappointed to see that Mac Rae was twice the price for midweek that it was when we were there last week. Is it that much more crowded in Avalon that time of year?
So many pros/cons to both places. How to decide?

Conditions yesterday were pretty poor... low vis (15 ft) again. Strangely my min temp on my deeper dive (51 ft) was warmer than on my shallower dive (27 ft)... 62 vs 59 F.
Yes, once the season starts hotel prices do sky rocket here as demand increases significantly especially mid-week.
