It is a setting that that provides the reciprocal heading for an out and back dive. When I run across unusual terms, I try to find the owner manual online and do a search. From the OC1 manual on the website:
REFERENCE OP MODE
Used for activity involving navigation in which a Heading, with a reciprocal (Auto Home) course, is set prior to diving
