Diving the Lulu

What's the best shop to go with for a trip out of Gulf Shores/Orange Beach to the Lulu? Would like to go in early May if possible.

Down Under Dive shop runs regular trips to the LULU from Orange Beach/Perdido Pass. If you get enough divers, you could charter Gary's Gulf Divers boat - the Gulf Diver - a 6-pack.

Most pensacola boats will also run over there, I think.

It's a good dive.

Just dove the Lulu last Saturday. Heavy surface current but nice on the wreak. Went through Down Under. Great boat, great crew. I'll definitely go out with them again.

Not much trouble getting down to the wreck, though I can understand why some folks did. This was my first dive since certification and first dive from a boat. I learned a lot that will help me prepare for the next time. I wish I had been able to dive on Sunday too.

I wish I could have stayed as well. But I had to get back to New Orleans. I'd like to dive that site again on a day with better vis.
