This locale has recently come to my attention but I'm having some difficulty ascertaining the reality of the diving and whether or not there's any decent lob's going out there. I'll appreciate any and all input. TIA

There are a few mentioned on undercurrent.org File not found

I snuck into Burma Banks with a group of divers on a private boat (and yes, we got fined severely for it) so the experience was only two days in 2010 but I did notice the viz was average at best and I did not spot a single shark. I thought it may have just been our limited sneeky peak but after having read the reports on the LOBs operating it seems the sharks are long gone and overfishing has taken its toll.

Thanks Wingy! I might have guessed you'd been, even if it was just a "sneak" peak. :)

I did a trip on Deep Andaman Queen last November. Overall it was disappointing, with almost all the sites having been dynamited a day or two before we got there, long delays for immigration, long transit times and a significant storm that made getting back on the boat rather "sporty" and even shut down the galley (or more precisely, the cook).

The he trip was a fun adventure, but the diving itself wasn't spectacular.
