Welcome and congratulations on your certification. Diving is awesome and there are a lot of fun and interesting people who partake in it.There are several good dive-sites in orange county. You may want to check out the Beach Crabs in the So.Cal forum,they are an active/friendly group of divers and they welcome new divers to join in and have some fun with them. Hi... I am new to this site...but you should try and get down here to Cabo and enjoy the warm water right now. It's been fabulous and the water temp is around 82

Welcome to ScubaBoard. Being from Orange County you're in the neighborhood diving began in the States. There is nothing that can beat a kelp forest... except warm, clear water during the winter!
