Novice diver and new to the forum

    Yup, I'm a newbie.

I started out in a diving course in preparation for my honeymoon. I'm still working on my certification, as I had trouble with my sinuses. My husband is now certified, so I'm trying to catch up!

    Welcome and good luck.

Yup, that's me. It was crummy to watch my husband do the rest of his open water dives while I had to sit on the surface.

    Welcome to ScubaBoard! :happywave

I hope you are catching up quickly, so that you can join in the fun! I'm not sure how long ago the honeymoon was, but best wishes to you and, of course, congratulations to your husband.

Don't forget to fill out your profile and dive info, so that we can add context to your future posts. Also, once we know where you are geographically, you may find that you'll have a whole bunch of new dive buddies to choose from locally.

    Dive safe!

    Christian

P.S. Due to the high volume of new posts in the Introductions and Greets forum, it's not always possible to keep up with all the new posts here. So, please help me out and send me a PM if you post anything you want me to read or repsond to in this forum.

Hi there! My name is Kayla, and I have been diving for over two years now! I think that you will be able to learn a lot here at ScubaBoard, and hopefully you will be able to post about some of your experiences as well. If you have any questions, please PM me. Otherwise, I hope to get to know you better around the boards!

    Safe diving!

    Hi and welcome

As a charter member of the Bad Sinus Society, I can attest to the benefits of regular irrigation with salt water or spray (you can get bottles of spray in any drug store). Snort early and often, not just when you are having problems!
