Went today to dive Lake Ouachita and when we got there the gate leading up to the dam site was closed. Sign said the gate would close at 5 and we were there well before then. First time that I have been on a "dry" dive. Oh well, looks like I'll have to wait a little bit longer before I get wet this season. Luckily in the south the season goes longer than what it does back north.

Does anyone know of why they closed the dam site early now?
