Just wondering what everyone else is using for their doubles and why. Aluminum, Steel, HP, or LP. Just looking for some opinions. TIA.

OMS steel 108's

If i was to do it again i would get the PST 104's, which i will as soon as i get a $1000 to spend :)

I dont like the coating on the OMS tanks, it sraches and chips too easy for my diving application.

This has been discussed at great length on the Board. Try a search on "doubles" or "steel".

I have aluminum 80s, steel 104s, and just got a set of steel 95s. Different sets for different applications (different depths and dive types actually).

I have double AL80s and double 72s, but wish I had some 104s..

I don't have yet but am planning to get a double of the new PST E8-130's, which are similar in capacity to the old 104's but lighter out of the water and slightly shorter. They are also designed for the higher service pressure (not that the old tank can't take an overfillor two).

al80's, because I'm still diving wet. As soon as I pop for the dui, I'll do the new pst130's too.
