Hi guys,

I recently had the opportunity to go on a liveaboard to Malpelo with the liveaboard Yemaya, run by Coiba Dive Expeditions. We departed from Panama City and the trip was 10-days (6 diving days) long.

I was really impressed by the diving in Malpelo. Big schools of hammerheads (100-300) were the norm and we also had the chance to spot whale sharks, Galapagos sharks, some Silkies (not in big numbers) and plenty of huge schools of tuna, bonito, etc.

For everyone interested in Malpelo, I wrote a few articles about my trip.

Photo Essay: If you want to check out some pictures.
Story-Experience article: If you want to read about my experience and watch a video about it.
Review: If you are interested on the services provided on board the Yemaya run by Coiba Dive Expeditions.

I hope you enjoy the articles and if you have any question about diving in Malpelo, I am here to help.

Antonio
