Hi there,

I love dolphins and other sea mammals and it's hard to watch this. I wonder why Japanese people and government are still hunting these beautiful creatures.

Isn’t eating any creature cruel? If yes, then porpoise are incredibly cruel.

I think there's big difference how the sea mammals, like dolphins hunt their food or how whale and dolphin hunters slaughter their victims. Dolphin hunting is slow and cruel way to kill any animal. I'm not against hunting and the prey should be killed instantly. Read more -> Facts About the Drive Hunt - Sea Shepherd .
And here's one episode made by Animal Planet -> Whale Wars: Viking Shores S01E04 - YouTube .

Nope. Cruelty to any animals should be illegal and totally unacceptable in every country. Including Japan.

But veal and foie gras are delicious.

Sharks, not so delicious. Let's get behind them.
