Since the "octo" is for ME it's an Aqua Lung Legend LX Supreme, just like the one on the 7' hose that I'm gonna give you if you need it.

So I guess you could say "I was only thinking of you when I bought it!"

:)

Diving doubles, it also just made sense to buy two of the same regs - first and second stages - rather than worrying about what goes with what.

Well with a result of 75% "same as primary" so far, this just goes to show how SBoarders are not a representative sample of divers.

I don't ever recall seeing a (rec) diver using a rig with 2 identical second stages and I normally pay attention to what other divers are using.

Same brand but the yellow version of a base model. Hardly "the cheapest".

No poll entry

Different brand....same internals... so basically they are the same.

I'm a novice diver and I dress like one :p

Regular rec diver setup
1st stage : Zeagle 50-D
primary 2nd stage : Zeagle ZX
octo : Sherwood Dual Octo, mouthpiece in vertical position

It was part of the package I bought and I like it so far. The mouth piece is oriented away from me so it's more comfortable for air sharing.

Since it is also "my" regulator, I use on all safety stops and frequently during ascents. No problem at depth or in cold water. Breathing is easier with the Zeagle, but the Sherwood is still way above my crappy entry level Mares reg.

As soon as I can, I'll get a second 50-D/ZX regulator and go for the "long hose" setup that my dive buddies use.

People are choosing same as my primary because they have the same brand. Most complete regulator setups recreational divers have the same brand octo as their primary, but it is of lesser quality. Therefore this poll is useless!!

The poll should have been:

1) Similar quality as your primary
2) poorer quality

Twin Zeagle Flathead VI's, one wore around neck.

Same primary, as both secondary regs are attached to the primary,,, both secondary regs are SP S600s... My doubles primaries and seconmdary regs are the same too
