Every man, woman and child that walks this Earth is sinful.[quote/]

That is something I've always hated about Christianity, everyone is a sinner. I don't see how an infant can be a sinner.

Sometimes that sin is what we do, other times in what we fail to do.[quote/]

While what I might consider a sinful act might be active or passive I don't like the assumption that I'm a sinner. I don't presuppose that of anyone regardless of their religion or lack thereof.

Well, evolution is a theory. It is also a fact. And facts and theories are different things, not rungs in a hierarchy of increasing certainty. Facts are the world's data. Theories are structures of ideas that explain and interpret facts. Facts do not go away when scientists debate rival theories to explain them. Einstein's theory of gravitation replaced Newton's, but apples did not suspend themselves in mid-air, pending the outcome. And humans evolved from apelike ancestors whether they did so by Darwin's proposed mechanism or by some other, yet to be discovered.
Moreover, "fact" does not mean "absolute certainty." The final proofs of logic and mathematics flow deductively from stated premises and achieve certainty only because they are not about the empirical world. Evolutionists make no claim for perpetual truth, though creationists often do (and then attack us for a style of argument that they themselves favor). In science, "fact" can only mean "confirmed to such a degree that it would be perverse to withhold provisional assent." I suppose that apples might start to rise tomorrow, but the possibility does not merit equal time in physics classrooms.
Interesting that he quotes Gould but nonetheless let me try and put this into perspective. The Theory of Evolution is there to explain the "fact" of evolution. Gee why didn't I think of that. Maybe I should have just stated that the Theory of God is there to explain the fact of God. Did someone mention circular reasoning awhile ago? I think I'll have the Javaman with a side of brontosaurus to go please.

$32 Million can go a long way in helping people in other ways. And that $32 Million does not even include overhead, such as water, electric (and Houston stays hot for months on end), property taxes, insurance, etc.

$32,000,000.00 is peanuts. Wouldn't even cover 3 day of "help" in Iraq.:shakehead::shakehead:

No, it's not circular at all. Stop and think before you post. And learn what a "Theory" is within a scientific context.

What is observed is that creatures change over time (they evolve). This is an undeniable fact. It has been witnessed directly and indirectly.

The "theory of evolution" is our best explanation as to HOW the fact of evolution occurs. It is a theory because new evidence could be discovered that alters our understanding of how creatures evolve. But, the fact that they do evolve is indisputable.

This has also been explained probably a dozen of times in this thread. Read, then post.

Yes...I was waiting for someone to point that fact out.

I was calculating in my head and estimating the number of perishiners. $32 Million will be paid off fairly quickly, even with the overhead costs, and even by the Catholic church.

However, the point is still valid, regardless of the sum of money.

I don't see where this states they are a new species. Microevolution has been well documented and is indisputable.

Read, THEN post. You might have to read past page 1.

The new species wiped out the indigenous lizard populations, although how it happened is unknown, he said.

They developed a new organ and wiped out the other species population within a period of like 30 years.

Here's an explanation about the differences between macro and microevolution:
