I've got one of those side-pane masks as well. I kind of like them because I don't have to turn my head and look directly at the person next to me but the thing is entirely clear. It lets in way too many reflections so all black frameless mask is on my list of things I want

That was initially the attraction of it - actually to the person who bought it for me and uses one herself - and mine had the translucent skirt and frame as well. Doesn't it bother you that you have 3 images in view that don't match up at the seams? It really bugged me...

I bought a Princeton Tec 3LED pistol grip light. Its great at lighting up EVERYTHING but it is useless to me now that I am going cavern/cave. Can't use a pistol grip light.
If anyone wants to buy it PM me.

my list is actually quiet small:

1) I bought two Sherwood Octopus
one for my pony and one as an octopus on my main because they were small, compact and light to travel with

i only used them in a lake twice

then i decided to buy two sets of Poseidon Xstreams, one as my main and one for my pony
and sell the original Apex regs that i've had for eight years

2) these are great, Buddy self inflating dsmbi

if you haven't used one you really need to try it out to see how easy they are to use
but, i find it a little large to carry

so, if anyone wants to buy the Sherwoods or the dsmbi let me know
or, i'm willing to swap the dsmbi with a halcyon 4.5 semi closed

Not really. I only pay attention to the things directly in front of me. If/when I want to check on my buddy, then I'll use the other frames. The only things I really don't like are what I said above, it lets in too much light and kills my binocular vision by having a pane for each eye

Oxycheq Raider IV LED dive light ... nice idea, but not ready for prime time.

The first one came without a focusing lens, and the switch worked intermittently underwater (worked just fine on land). So I sent it back for a replacement.

The switch on the second one didn't work at all underwater (again, worked fine on land) ... and the lens housing flooded.

I'm invoking the two-strike rule ... I want a backup light that will actually function when I need it.
