Greetings to all my fellow SB brothers and sisters I must confess there are two things none of us should ever do! First of all never bring up the cost of our dive gear and Second never stop the need for more! Sounds like a sickness that is shared over the mast majority of divers entering the Tech realm. The bottom line is one must have what it takes if you are going to pursue a more challenging dives, "deeper / longer", overhead environments, wreck penetration, etc. The training alone requires the obsessive gear habit or at least that is what I tell myself. But alas I have never been any happier and all the weight I will gladly bear as long as I can. I have forgone purchasing a new vehicle so I can afford to buy more gear and dive more. Not diving is not an option I have a two week dry rot limit that will not allow for extended dry times.
Thus dry suit, doubles, and much more ensure my ability to dive when ever and what ever I want. The training that goes with it is priceless. Only in my wildest dreams did I ever believe I would be able to go the places I have been and experience the sights I have seen. I hope diving never quits to amaze me, there is a lot more to see!
Safe diving to all and keep feeding the need for more everyone, after all it is our nature.
CamG Keep diving....keep training....keep learning!
