I'm a Fish!
Never had a problem with either my Suunto computers or Dive Supply. Very friendly and efficient service in over 10 years that I use them.

Probably best to contact Suunto directly. Sorry to hear about your bad luck, can only wish you good luck with this case.

I am a Freelance Instructor and using SUUNTO computer " Because " of their very good service net worldwide. ( I am teaching worldwide and using myself a D9 and have a Gekko for Rental ) Dive Supply was helping me several times when I ve got an urgent Service on one of my own or my customers computer. Are you sure you gave your computer to a authorized SUUNTO dealer or directly to a Dive Supply Branch ?

I cant say any negative about Suunto or Dive Supply.

Perhaps you check again with the guys from Dive Supply whats happend with the Cobra.

take care.

All I know is here on Koh Tao, Robin from DS has fixed loads of my problems and answered loads of my questions free of charge. As for purchasing equipment, I've never gotten peep one about returns or refunds.

Safe diving

Anybody had any bad experiences with buying scuba equipment from dive supply (apart from them being an overpriced monopoly)?

Does Dive Supply really have a monopoly?

They are probably the biggest scuba equipment importer/retailer in Thailand but there are (quite a few) others as well.
You, the customer can choose where and with who to purchase your equipment.

I can provide you with some contact details of other scuba equipment importers in Thailand if you like.
