I am sorry to say I won't be able to make it. This has been on my calendar since the Spring M&G. I just can't work it in. I knew there was a chance but it was slim. I will really miss all of you! Someone take good care of Mitten for me, please?

Thanks, I will be back, and I'll be thinking of all of you guys in two weekends from now. Sorry I can't bring the poppers. I hope I don't lose my special spot by the campfire and job helping out with the smores! I wish there was a way to get there but it's just not possible.

Com'on kt, if you can get a phone call in Columbus from Mitten at 10:30 PM and make to to the MnG 3 hrs. later with your daughter, you can make it anytime. Well, we will miss you!:depressed:

I'm back from Myrtle Beach and will be making a Kielbasa run this week, about 15 to 20 lbs. worth. I've enjoyed reading some of the zings referring to me. I don't have time to answer to them though. (I didn't like the "Grandfather" comment, however, Mr. Mitten, but that's ok. I'll probably forget about it when I get to my next comment.) I'm really looking forward to this weekend.

Rab, I've got your 1 lb. weights from the Guinness event, and Boats, I'll bring that dry suit along with me for you to look at. You can't dive with it though; the wrist seals and neck seal are all shot. And misstopsail, I'll gladly take you to 60'. Also, I;ll be diving the haunted quarry Sat. night, and if you want, you can team up with me. See you all on the 9th.

Looks to be dry but cool for the weekend. So pack a jacket and fleece pull-over and come have some fun.

Should be nice if it is going to be cool. Would rather have that than what we had at the spring M&G. With the 80 degree weather I was overheated before I even got in the water. Then froze my tail off in the water because of being overheated.... Hopefully this weekend will be more moderate between the water and the surface temps (albeit on the cooler side).

this will be the first MnG where I stay the night(s)...

I should definately be able to hit dive #200 sometime on Saturday... (there's a night dive Sat. yes?) so someone bring a slate so I can write a big 200!! and get a picture with as many of you as I can squeeze around me (peak buouyancy inservice! ) , I'm putting in some Birthday dives today to make that goal more attainable...

I figure I'll roll in 'bout 9:30am Friday morning...

Bugger it but I have a cold now. This is a bummer. I am going to spend the week juicing up on meds and liquids to make sure I am able to attend the meet and greet. But given the temps outside and this newly found cold, I may have to find a hotel up the road 15 miles to crash.
