Local diving only, or occasional travel (weight and size may be an issue)?

Plan on taking it on a plane? (Size might really be an issue)

Warm water only (less lift required) or cold as well (may need more lift if diving a thick wetsuit, but extra lift not needed for a drysuit).

Throw us a bone.

Welcome back Seajay....some of us from the old days are still around.

As for the BC, tell us what you intend to use it for, it makes a difference.

Ive just bought a mares dragon and while its good quality and comfortable, Im still not used to it after 6 dives.

The dump handles are difficult to find, the whisle gets tangled (ill probably chop it off) and the tank sits a fair way off my back which makes me bigger in the water :shakehead:

The Zeagle Express Tech has gotten very good reviews, is very minimalist, very light and there are several accessories that can upgrade the BC. I'm looking into getting one for travel so I can take my own gear when I fly

I have the SB Knighthawk and I think it's great but again, depends on what you're looking for.
