Per "I'd find it instructive to see the documents you filed and got back. The process interests me, although I have no reason to file one with any agency."
I did not have to fill out anything. I just sent a one sentence email to the CPSC asking for the entire file under the FOIA. They sent me a masive packet with hundereds of notes, submissions and emails by both companies (DR and Halcyon). Many pages were duplicates, but it was clear that the Halcyon was a standard filing. It was basic and just following the dots. The Dive Rite packet had many times more pages and a lot of communication about how they did not want to notify other countries and notes by the CPSC staff about how much trouble they were having with Dive Rite.

I just had a 32 wing gifted to me by a buddy, he bought it for $95 at the unclaimed luggage place. I think it is brand new! Now this, jeez! LOL
All kidding aside, are you sending out springs? How should I go about getting a new spring? TIA

At this point we are looking at doing the spring replacements thru dealers. That said for those unable to get to a dealer I hope to be posting a instruction video and form for others to do the repair
Thanks, when ready will you be posting a link for the order form? I bought my gear at Divers Supply in Macon and have no intention of driving 2.5 hours for a spring
