Ditto on DiveRite I've only ever had exceptional service from them. 30 something replies and not one person has shared your opinion. If a hundred people tell you you are wrong it's quite possible that you are. Give it up and go diving, really.

Not trying to bash diverite and in all fairness I haven't used their CS. Just (obviously wrongly) used them as an example of "the big guy" you wouldn't EXPECT to get great service from.

I hate these internet forums that go on and on- and I've gone and sucked myself into this one. I still don't believe myself to be wrong in hoping for something better- but the bottom line is I like the rig and it is only ten dollars! I've already wasted too much time on it, which unfortunately is why I think the repair COST $10 (because they felt like nobody would make an issue out of it) regardless if a charge was warranted or not!!!

In any case- I'm done. Not worth it!
 
Well you started the whine! Absolutely no one has agreed with you. So if you're done, we're done. You clearly can't see this from any point of view than your own if you still think your views have merit.
 
This thread makes me happy to own and dive a LCD 30. I was on the fence on ordering a kydex plate, but after DSS supply great customer support, you guys will have another order heading your way. Thanks Tobin
 
I was really hoping for better from a company with such a solid record...

And based on what I have seen in this thread, that solid record is well-deserved and still very much intact. Thanks for making me aware of them. :)

Fess up - Did Tobin pay you to do this? This has to be some of the best promotional advertising I have seen.

Your post/complaint is an epic failure at best. All of this fodder for $10...seriously? DSS is more than reasonable here. Whining and attempting an inept attack in hopes to bash a business is a b*tch move. Especially, when there is absolutely no substance to your argument.
