Maybe this is an idiotic question but what do you wear over your swimsuit on a dive boat? I have only been on one boat dive. I wore denim shorts and a tank top over my one-piece swimsuit.

I hate that wet feeling though...when you put a pair of shorts on over a wet swimsuit.

Been thinking about wearing my two-piece next time and a skirt, and then i could just take my bottoms off after the dive...not huge into the idea of going commando afterwards but it does sound better than swamp butt.

Ladies...ideas? What do you do?

Thanks in advance.

What rivers said, or sometimes a sarong tied around me until I get off the boat and rinse off.

Also, depending on temp, I wear a long boat coat in chilly weather, often with just suit underneath.

Sarong when warm, extra large hooded chammi and sarong when colder.

my wetsuit

but i don't get it, how far is the ride and why can't you wait till you get back to shore?
its not a fashion show lol
besides, if you go on a full boat you won't even have room to put your equipment on let alone take your wetsuit off

Depends on the dive boat doesn't it? Most of the boats I dive from have room for me to put on my wetsuit and even with a short ride to the reef we get the few minute heads up to don. I wear my sarong to the boat on a.m., usually only strip top of wetsuit to waist during surface interval and then after dives, strip out of wetsuit completely and tie sarong back on (same procedure if chammyz involved)

Men, please note that this thread is in Women's Perceptions subforum. I don't wear my sarong for fashion, I wear it for convenience.
