It made me give up diving! I'll never even go out in a boat again unless it's steel hulled. There be monsters out there!
Discovery Channel really blew it this year. Hiring actors to represent "experts" and making up garbage.
My biologist friends have been non-stop tweeting and facebooking their outrage for days...
I heard that Wesley Crusher has also voiced his displeasure. I don't know what to think about that...

I would watch it if they start showing topless female models riding sharks.

There are now two shark "week" and "fest"
lots of bad inuendo on sharks eating people, has a shark ever eaten a whole person? in how many years of shark festweekness.
I like it, and hate it. lots of shark footage, even people filming great whites in wet suits without any chain mail. but the bad naration and stupid science is ... well ... bad.
BTW, why are "scientists" paid to abuse the poor sharks, inserting things inside their body, presumably with batteries that eventually go bad and rust trough the device and kill the shark? (shark men).
so we know what happens when a fish has no preditors, like the lion fish, what will happen when the sharks are thined out to the point they no longer cull the lower species?
I just thought I would spew some stuff out there to get the juices flowing.

It seems the professional outrage has motivated CNN to grab some actual shark scientists and interview them. There might be something showing around 4:30pm-ish (eastern time).
You mean Shark Eden isn't real?!? I'm so sad.
