I'm looking for the best place to send my regs to get serviced, I have about 10 regs(with both 1st and 2nd stage) that need a deep cleaning and servicing. I have done it before in the past but unfortunately I haven't used them in year and haven't serviced them in 2 years(I know, I'm behind the ball)! thanks for the advice!!

With 10 reg sets you should learn to do it yourself or you may have to take out a home equity loan to get all 10 done. No tech will ever tune your reg to its best performance. They will just put it to factory specs and most won't even try for the best performance within the spec window unless you know them personally. They don't want any coming back because they started to leak a bit after the seat started to take a "set". If you learn to do them yourself you can adjust them to keep them on the edge. No offense to any techs out there and I understand you have to put them in factory specs. Manuals are widely available online and theres really nothing to it if you are slightly mechanically inclined and understand what you read in the manual.

Scubatoys and DRIS both offer reg servicing too. But I agree that Airtech is probably the best. I’ve used them multiple times and have had zero issues. Good folks too.

I’ll put in another vote for Air Tech. They operate out of my LDS. Those of us who drop off and pick-up locally receive the same communication as online/remote clients. They are very professional and good with communication.

split between hollis DC7 with 500se, DC3 with 221 and apeks xtx50..100.200...etc

yeah, id love to do them but my schedule doesn't allow for me to sit down and take the time, also I do believe they need O/H and most likely after this I will try to do them myself again......time permitting

10 reg sets....not used in a year? Seems if you don't have the time to service them or use them for that long, why do you need all 10 serviced immediately?
Service one and go diving. The others can wait. Sending them all out at once you are likely looking at $1-1.5K.

Folks - his profile indicates Okinawa. That maybe complicates the servicing issue.

I agree, unfortunately I wont be diving anytime soon due to work :(

the cost of it, is worth the time and piece of mind to me that they will get done correctly.

I recently moved back to the states and now I live about 2 hrs from AirTech.

I gave them a call and they quoted me about $750 for 5 of them.....you were spot on... sounds like this is a fair price for what it is worth.... let me know if you think differently.
