This is the best post in this thread so far. Good facts, no attitude. The poster knows what they're talking about
Except I do not find Palm Beach County dysfunctional. Not really a fact...more of an opinion.

Most of the posts in the thread have some facts colored with the writer's opinion.

The title is actually a request for opinions, if it required facts it should've been worded different... Where in Florida the population is less/more than X? Or the average number of cars is Y? Or the temp? Or supermarkets, hospitals, whatever .

My opinion about the keys... unless you have an operating budget in the very high 6 figure range, Is only great to be close to visit then go home.
Water temps in the tri-county area Dade-Broward-Palm Beach are pretty great year round... "Great" being subjective that applies to me.
For sure I would never recommend moving to Pompano Beach.... Nah. There's way too many bad things, better to go to anywhere else. As far as disfuncional... I doubt there's a place with humans that isn't disfuncional to some degree.

I guess my post has opinions AND attitude... Probably due to influences of living in SE Florida, oh well.

Hi:

Was not referring to your post. Of course we all post opinions. Just referring to another post...about another post... but moved on.

You are an expert, after all.

As Midwesterners we are partial to Southwest FL ... Ft. Myers-Bonita Springs-Naples. I like to call SWFL the Midwest of FL. LOTS of Midwesterners have located here. It has a very Midwest vibe that we find comforting. Others would find it boring.

Currently working in Boca Raton so getting a healthy dose of Palm Beach County. Better diving in the Southeast for sure. Much busier and a more urban vibe.

Bottom line is FL has a community that will fit just about everyone.

Nope, we're full.

No room for anyone else.

I hear Louisiana is nice this time of year.
