Discrimination to Asians has been around since time immortal!
Your point has absolutely no meaning to me or us!

Asians have discriminating to other Asians for thousands of years and killing each other by the hundreds of millions.

Stick to the subject matter please. There are many other threads available for bickering and chest thumping.

At this point, I'm seriously considering Thailand. That said, have become concerned about the refugees fleeing from Myanmar. That's a horrible situation, Myanmar but that's also where a recent outbreak of Covid-19 came from. If I recall correctly, there'd been some sneaking over the border and back and the sneak back brought the covid.

The boundary between Thailand and Burma is long, hilly etc etc so "illegal" has no problem to cross over it.
There are a large number of Burmese working legally/illegally all over the Kingdom. You can easily spot the female(young and old) by the distinctive "Thanaka" cosmetic on their faces.

Give it another 6 months when the situation in Thailand, hopefully, would be much clearer. BTW, the best time to dive the West coast is from Nov onward.

I have long given up hope for Indonesia, Philippines and Malaysia for travelling in 2021.

I'm not leaving until around then, as far as I know. :)

Stick to the subject matter please. Refresh yourself on the topic, which has little to nothing to do with the US.

This topic is under Asia.

Covid-19: Thailand tests thousands after virus outbreak in seafood market

Another sea-food market related outbreak.

Thailand should consider herself lucky that the outbreak has very low impact in Cambodia and Laos.
But the remaining neighbour Malaysia is not.
Both Singapore and Thailand had problem with the outbreak among the migrant workers.

Indonesia started issuing the social business visa's again. Can get there is you really wanted to and had time to spare.

Philippines... 2022 doubtful. Thailand wants to open to some countries but very iffy.
