funny sized regulator hose

I recently got hold of a Sherwood brut 2nd stage, the hose is funny sized on 1st stage side, it seems to be 7/16" instead of 3/8" despite bearing sherwood tag on the hose end protection.The other side hose is swiwelled and 3/8" is that normal or can I assume the previous owner (ebay sale) as played up with wrenches and spares?

They probably swapped out the hose to fit a US divers or Mares abyss 1st stage. You can pop on a new hose for under 20 bucks.

The answer, "The one in your hand."
You might be curious but beyond that the only thing you need to know is if it fits your 1st stage port!!!!! If it doesnt then buy a new hose.
